Distractions

This last month has been quite busy. It probably seems like I’ve fallen off the face of the Earth. If I disappear from online social media, it probably means I’m working on a secret project. And indeed that is the case. Fall and winter are big magazine issues and the knitting for them always occurs roughly between January and April. So yeah, I’ve been knitting and I’m still knitting. Some things are already turned in, some are due in April, and something else due in May…

My latest project is a tough one. I love it, I love the concept, love how its turning out, but I cannot seem to get motivated to work on it. There have been many distractions. For example, I made stitch markers, I started playing tennis again, I started running again, I got a drum carder, and I cannot stop thinking about sewing skirts.

Sewing Supplies

Here is my pile of supplies. I’m so excited and ready to get started! Really, I just need to make this my reward for finishing this project…but…I need skirts now…or something…

I know it sounds trite and stupid, but the timer thing relly does work. Do 20 minutes of WORK, then 10-20 of whatever you want. It works!
