Tamarix Quilt

For the last two days  I have been jumping around crazy with excitement over my first published pattern. (I say published meaning by someone else, not self-published.)

This has been a secret project since the beginning of the year, actually the proposal submission was about a year ago. Let me tell ya, it’s been very hard to keep it hush hush. And now that it has become public, I have been shouting about it all over the internet. So here’s a sneak peek, a preview from Interweave.

    Oh I’ve been loving this design ever since I first saw it and had no idea it was yours! Yay!

    I said it on Crafty Detour but I’ll say it again! Congratulations! The pattern is so good, you deserve to be congratulated more than once :)

    I have a well-worn copy of this issue of interweave knits at home and have loved this blanket since seeing it. I only have the top 4 rows left…did my squares from the bottom of the diagram up…I cannot wait to present this to my friend!!! I used left over stash of redheart
    purple = tea leaf
    orange = pumpkin
    blue = burgundy
    cream = aran

    I just wish that I could have knit the squares together as I went…couldn’t find anyone who knows how so that they could show me. Sometimes I hate being a visual learner!

    But ya for you! Can’t wait to see more published patterns…YOU GO GIRL!! : )
